Pre-Update Requirements
- ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Factory reset is highly recommended after firmware update
- Stable power connection
- Computer or device connected to router (WiFi or Ethernet)
- Downloaded firmware file saved to your computer
Router Firmware Update Process
Step 1: Download Firmware
- Download the firmware file from the download page
- Save to your computer (do not open or extract)
- Note the file location for later use
Step 2: Access Router Interface
- Connect to the router via WiFi or Ethernet
- Open a web browser
- Navigate to: http://192.168.10.1
- Login with your administrator credentials
- default username is: root, default password is: admin
Step 3: Flash Firmware
- Go to System → Manually Flash Firmware
- Click Browse and select firmware file
- Verify checksum matches the one provided with the download
- Click Apply to start the update
Step 4: Monitor Update Process
- Update process takes 5 minutes maximum
- Watch the Power LED: During the update, the Power LED stays ON. When the router reboots, it will briefly go OFF, then start blinking. Once the router fully boots up, the LED will stop blinking and remain solid ON—indicating the update is complete.
- Router will automatically reboot
- When power LED becomes solid, update is complete
Step 5: Reconnect and Verify
- Close browser and reopen
- Navigate to http://192.168.10.1
- Login to verify access
- Go to Status → Overview to confirm firmware version
Step 6: Factory Reset (Recommended)
Method 1 - Via GUI:
- Login to the router interface
- Go to System → Factory Default
- Click Perform Reset
Method 2 - Hard Reset:
- Power cycle the router
- When power LED is solid, press and hold reset button for 10 seconds
- Release button and wait for router to restart
Post-Update Configuration
Run the Setup Wizard: Click the Setup Wizard in the top-right corner to begin guided configuration. During this process, you'll have the option to change the APN settings if required for your network.

Troubleshooting
- If you can't access the router after the update, perform a hard reset: Power OFF and ON the router, wait for the Power LED to turn solid, then press and hold the Reset button (on the back) until the Power LED turns OFF and begins flashing—this will restore factory settings.
- No internet connection: Verify APN settings and ISP TTL values
- Update fails: Verify checksum and re-download firmware
